MEMBERSHIP FAQ's
1. Is there a fee to join Urban Divas?
No! Membership to Urban Divas is complimentary, and open to all women over the age of
21.
2. What happens once I become a member?
Once you fill out the membership form above you will automatically be added to receive our
weekly e-newsletter. The newsletter will inform you of upcoming events, important event
updates and changes, business spotlights, hip happenings, and more. As soon as you
receive the newsletter simply skim it for events that interest you, then follow the link to
register. You can also find out about upcoming events by visiting our online event calendar
3. I signed up for a membership, but I never received my e-newsletters...what gives?
The newsletter is probably being blocked by your spam filter. Be sure to add
courtney@urbandivas.org to your address book in order to receive our emails. Or
simply check your bulk mail folder, as it may have been redirected there.
4. I've moved and need to discontinue my membership...can you help?
To discontinue your membership, simply follow the directions to "unsubscribe" at the
bottom of each Urban Divas e-newsletter..
EVENT FAQ's
1. My friend wants to attend an upcoming event, but she's not a member. Is she still welcome?
Sure! Our events are open to members AND non-members.
2. I registered for an event but am no longer able to attend. Can I get a refund?
Registrations cancelled at least 72 hours in advance are entitled to a full refund.
Registrations cancelled 48 hours in advance will receive a refund in the amount of 50% of
the ticket price.
Registrations cancelled less than 48 hours in advance are NOT entitled to a refund,
however, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Just let us know of the change so
that there is no confusion at the door.

3. I'm a [designer, boutique owner, entrepreneur, etc] interested in hosting an event with Urban
Divas. Who should I contact to discuss this?
